Mari Ørstavik is a Norwegian actress graduated from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles. After finishing The Academy Company it took only weeks before she was booked to her first international commercial, and have since gone on to do work in film and television both in the United States, Norway and England.
Having experience in a multitude of acting techniques, ranging from Chubbuck to Meisner to Stanisvlaskij, makes Mari able to choose a unique approach to each character she portrays. Fluent in English, able to do both an English and American accent, she is free to work across the world.
What’s new? Recently the short film “Man Made”, in which she star but also co-wrote with director Frøydis Fossli Moe, got nominated for an Amandus award.
